Disappointed

Unfortunately I assumed replacing my 10 yr old Amana frig with freezer on the bottom when it died with the same style but a Maytag would be perfect. It is very noisy ... constant humming sound, but then roughly every 15 minutes a loud "compressor-type" sound comes on. Had the frig been plugged in at the store, I would not have bought it

Fan unplugged

I bought this at a reputable appliance dealer. The fan was not plugged in at the factory, so the refrigerator did not cool, but the freezer worked. A repairman had to come to fix the unit.

Don't buy it!

This model, although it looks great, has a faulty temperature control board and thermostat. Mine has gone out twice in less than five years. Each time it was $400.

Seems to keep the food cold enough. Maytag really failed on the manufacturing processes though. None of the corners on the doors are welded and ground smooth. Look more like something out of someone's garage instead of a major manufacturer. The wide drawer in the refrigerator is definitely lacking Quality. It does not slide well at all and is very flexible when it has products in the drawer.

Great Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrig because i had difficulty bending and reaching the vegetable crispersin my standard refrigerator ( after a broken hip). This is a dream, Everything within easy reach! Everything works great, the veg crispers don't slide well sometimes...my onlythought on "what's wrong". Do love this refrigerator! Thanks Maytag!
