I purchased this stove in Lynn which was a recommendation of the owner. We have not been disappointed, easy to clean, cooks fast, cools down quickly, a pleasure to cook on and looks great in the kitchen

Second cooktop

The burners are fast to heat up and accurate in the setting. This Maytag cook top was 0.125" larger compared to an Amana in the 29" dimension so the marble counter top had to be enlarged. Cleaning the black cooktop is a daily function. Do not let sugar get on the cook top when it is heating since tiny pits where the sugar burnt are now present.

First Maytag cooktop

This is my first Maytag cooktop and I absolutely love it I had a different brand cooktop prior to this one but with the remodeling of my kitchen I chose a larger cooktop and Maytag was recommended to me and a good recommendation it was

Love the burners, but hate trying to keep it clean

Love the size and the functionality of the burners, but the cooktop itself is a pain to keep clean. Every smudge, smear, and fingerprint is magnified in an otherwise beautiful cooktop. Also, cooktop scratches easily.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dual -choice Electric Cooktop

Never cooked on one of these. Still getting used to it. The dots where the knobs are could be a little brighter and easier to read. I wear glasses.I am amazed though on how fast it heats up and how it balances heat. Almost like cooking with gas.!! My last one was electric, but old; 30 yrs. I really like this one. Had to learn how to clean it, was a little afraid of scratching it. Did buy the cleaner just for this and it's own sponge. No problem. All in all I would reccomend this. Looks nice, cooks fast and great.
