EASY TO SET UP AND INSTALL, GREAT LOOKING ON YOUR DESK, TAKES UP VERY LITTLE SPACE.

Best Monitor I've ever owned

This monitor is excellent. I have really enjoyed using it with photographic applicatons and my other software, as well. Colors are great and the size is wonderful. I have told my wife for year that size does not matter. Well, the size of this monitor really does matter.

I am a tech genius, I have had every toy known to man. This is by far my favorite monitor ever. I now have three on my computer. I have installed 6 for people in the past few weeks. The picture blows all my other flat panels out of the water, throw on a HDMI to DVI and set to go! I want a 30" Model!

I've had this monitor for about two weeks. What a huge difference from the 22" non-glossy I had. The colors just pop and the sharpness is way above any monitor I've had before. The only draw back is the integrated speakers. I was advised not to use them because over time they would affect the quality of the picture.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What can I say? It's the sharpest monitor, and it has speakers and a USB hub. I wasn't sure if my video card could drive it at full resolution, but it did. In fact, according to some research I've done, almost any card can handle it at 1920x1200 @ 60hz. BTW, because this is an LCD, it doesn't suffer from screen flicker at that frequency.
This is a great monitor, and I plan on buying another in the near future.

I have been using computers for well over 20 years and owned several LCD monitors. The HP w2408h is, by far, the best. The colors are brilliant. The USB hub is a big plus because nowadaysvirtually every peripheral is USB.
Pros: picture quality, USB hub, almost unlimited display adjustments, easy height and tilt adjustments, nice physical appearance, price is about $200 below competing products and service is better than competition.
Cons: the glossy finishes used by HP are dust magnets and show finger prints
Additional Comments: For some reason the driver software would not install using the included CD or the downloaded file. However, I called HP technical support and they were able to provide a procedure which remedied that problem.
