It works for us!

With an active lifestyle, we needed a machine that would just work!
Whether it is just one set of sweaty gym clothes or a sleeping bag after a weekend hike, this machine will do it for us.
Yes, we do full loads of whites, colors, delicates and jeans but for the most part we set a load to wash on delay at night to be finished in the morning.

Before we leave for work, we set another delayed load to be done before we come home at night to be folded.

As for the slight dampness, 10 minutes on a plastic hanger (can you even buy metal ones anymore?) and you would not know it just came out of the machine. No big deal for us.
In the summer, we don't use the dry cycle and within a half hour on our clothes line, everything is dry.
We highly recommend this unit!
P.S. - Be sure to have a secure floor for this unit. It spins fast and will vibrate your "whole" house if not on a stable and secure floor. It did ours but that was easily fixed with added support in our crawl space under the home.
Pros: Quality, Features/Settings, easy to use, Performance, Style/Design, it spins fast and is highly efficient!

This washing machine is amazing. I assumed washing machines had certain flaws after going through at least 4, but was I wrong. This machine does everything right.

Ready to buy another one

Without a doubt the best machine I've ever owned, and we're ready to buy a second one for our family of 5. This machine has completely changed the way we look at clothes washing, and it's quite a conversation piece at parties- nobody's ever seen one! Our kids love to use it to clean their own clothes, and that alone is worth the purchase LOL. Nothing like coming home after a long workday to find our clothes clean, dry, and ready to go.
However, there is one caveat with these washer/dryer combos: you have to think differently about how to use them. These machines use CONDENSING drying, not direct heat drying like conventional dryers. While this method is very energy efficient and better for your clothes, drying bulky items like denim jeans & comforters actually require a LOWER dryer setting so they won't get wrinkled due to over-drying. Also, as indicated in the manual, you can't jam pack the machine because there won't be enough space to allow air to move during the dryer mode. That said, LG should come out with a larger all-in-one machine equal to the capacity of their front-loading washers. While this machine has the capacity to wash king-size comforters, it doesn't have the capacity to dry them, hence why we still have a "backup" dryer out in the garage to dry our large items.

Clothes go in dirty and come out awesome!

Yes it takes four hours to wash and dry a load...but so what. You load your dirty clothes, then go do something else and when you come back everything is clean and dry! This machine is super quiet and reliable. These types of machines are not cheap hence the ding for value but if you need a ventless 110V machine this is by far the best option!

Overpriced & specific use only

Very good quality washer/dryer but drying cycle is very slow & often leaves heavier items damp. Definitely not suitable for families with kids. Manageable for a couple. Dry cycle should be readily available on cycle dial & not concealed as it is. Best feature is that it saves space if that is a determining factor and that machine requires no venting. Terribly overpriced and more costly than the best available separate washer and dryers that can work simultaneously to save time for large amounts of clothes.
Pros: Performance, Quality, saves space
Cons: Value, Features/Settings

The washer was a huge purchase for me, and I thought I had researched well. My disappointment is the lack of ability to ues any powder products, the vibrations when spinning, and lack of ability to better define needs for cycles.
Cons: Features/Settings
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The only real issue I have is smell. I leave the door open after I am done (which is silly) and run using the stuff made to clean it ( which is also silly) and still eventually there will be an oder. Thats really the only issue though.

We did a lot of research before deciding which machine to go with. This one seemed perfect for apartment living and it has more then answered all of our hopes! The multitude of features is great, the washing cycle is very quiet, we've never had a single problem with it "jumping around" during the drying cycle, everything comes out clean and dry...in short, it's the perfect combo unit for us! We absolutely love it and would definitely buy it again!
