Very pleasantly surprised at the super quiet performance. You can barely hear it running.
Love the huge basket capacity, have never had this before. Its marvelous, can do my quilts now and sheets with ease. clothes are fluffy and feel so fresh and clean.

no need for all the bells and whistles. It works great, great price, fits a queen comforter, no problem. I had this product for 5 months now. Why pay more !

I bought this washer for it's simplicity and sturdiness, having just had an expensive "low-water" washer break down after only one year's use, and then be too expensive a fix to even consider!

Just wanted simple washing machine--no bells and whistles--just one that cleans clothes and is dependable. I have had this washer since September 2013 and have had no problems.

I bought this washer two days before Christmas when my current washer broke. The salesperson at the appliance store talked nonstop about this product, sold me on it. SHOULD HAVE READ THE REVIEWS FIRST - BUYER BEWARE!!! The basket is large but cannot handle a large load. Several times I've had to re-run the rinse, spin and drain cycles because the water doesn't drain. It can't handle the proper amount of laundry detergent (yes, I've read the detergent instructions and used the correct amount). I constantly have suds on the sidewalls of the basket after running a load through. The spin cycle seems ineffective as well, the clothes are SOAKING wet at the end of the load, not just damp. AND.....the "warm" water cycle isn't warm at all, it's COLD. I've adjusted the water line to try to add more hot water go get the water to warm but to no avail. SORRY I BOUGHT THIS WASHER!!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

i had purchased a maytag and it lasted about 5 years w/ no problems. paid about 8 to 9 hundred dollars. the last 3 years was leaking water, and found out had a hole in the drum. more to repair than to replace. so i decided to go w/ a GE and to not spend alot of money. it has done great so far. wish it would hold more but that is the least of my worries. very satisfied.

Very quiet washing machine.

Owned the Hot Point washing machine Model # HTWP1400F1WW about a year now. It has to be the most silent washer I've ever owned. Washes clothes well. Using far less water than most washers. My last Hot Point washing machine lasted 11 years. They say the average life of a washer is 8 years. This is why I bought a Hot Point washer again.
