Just What I Need

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of the benefits of having a slowcooker is letting it do the cooking instead of me. But I can't be away from it long unless I want my meal overcooked. Having a busy lifestyle isn't always compatible with a slowcooker. I have had my share of overcooked meals due to unexpected delays in my schedule. Thanks to this slowcooker from Hamilton Beach I no longer have to worry. I don't have to be home to turn it down to warm once the cooking is finished. Now I can simply program it to cook the necessary time and it will automatically go to warm when completed. If I am running late....no problem. And no overcooked meal.
It is easy to use and it cooks thoroughly and evenly. It is also easy to clean. One of my favorite features are the clip latches for the lid. Great for bringing it along for gatherings and outdoor picnics. I highly recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This crock pot is awesome! Love that the lid clamps down securing it for transporting it. Also came with a spoon that attaches to top handle, along with the thermometer. Very easy to use and understand. Awesome product!

Great Upgrades for a Slow Cooker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Hamilton Beach Set and Forget Slow cooker to use for my honest review. I’ve had a basic slow cooker (low, high, warm settings) for years and love it, but was looking for a programmable one with a ceramic insert. Ceramic is great as it is easy to clean and use unlike with Teflon coated inserts which can easily get scratched (from utensils or bones) and need to be replaced. I love the added features with this slow cooker. The lid has a gasket around it which keeps a nice seal while cooking and the locking clips for the lid keep it secure when carrying it. And the spoon and spoon rest on the lid is a great addition. The programmable “set & forget” feature is great too! It’s nice to have it automatically go to the warm setting after a set time. One thing I realized is that I don’t really need the temperature probe as I cook all meats in the slow cooker until they are well done and falling off the bones. As I cook more with it, I’ll experiment using the probe. I highly recommend the Hamilton Beach Set and Forget Slow Cooker as it is easy to use and clean up afterwards.

Versatile and Helpful!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My experience with slow cookers has been limited to the occasional soup or stew. With the Set and Forget Slowcooker, I've been able to expand my recipes to include roasts, chicken, curries, and so many more fun foods that I don't have to spend too much time on. I love the thermometer and also the snap on lid so that I can bring it with me to offer friends a home cooked meal. Being able to program the temp and time and knowing it will keep warm leads to no worries about dried out food or if I forgot to turn it off! It's been a great addition to my kitchen.
