Excellent Slow Cooker with Outstanding Features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned a few slow cookers over the years and this slow cooker is by far my favorite. There are several great features but my favorite is the temperature probe. It takes all the guesswork out of knowing when a whole chicken or roast is thoroughly cooked to your desired temperature. Simply set the probe temp and the unit will switch to warm when the selected temperature is reached. It is so easy and has given me added confidence, especially when cooking poultry. Another great feature is the intuitive control panel. It’s simple to use and instructions are very easy to follow. All you really have to do is “Set & Forget.” This is also the first time I have ever had a slow cooker with a clip-tight locking lid and a gasket around the rim of the lid that provides a nice, tight seal. They have really thought of everything.
Overall, this slow cooker is THE BEST I have owned and I am very impressed. From the outstanding features to the attention to detail, you can tell this slow cooker is a quality product.

Excellent product, great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got my new Hamilton Beach Set and Forget 6 quart programmable slow cooker, and now it is my new favorite way of cooking meals. It has three choices for easy automatic cooking. Program, probe or manual. It also features a clip tight lid with a gasket seal to assure there are no messes. It looks very stylish and modern. The controls are easy to use and understand. Thank you Hamilton Beach for making such a great product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok, so I have several programmable crocks, right? Well, this is even better!! Not just programmable, but down to the hour and temp, even on Warm. My homemade soup was so easy and quick with no overcooked veggies. I am so happy about my new crockpot, that I am intentionally cooking everything in it!

One of the best features I have ever seen on a slow cooker, especially since I use it to cook my meals when I am at work, no more overcooked meals!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This slow cooker is incredible and really convenient for having a delicious home-cooked meal ready as soon as you walk in the door from work. It's really easy to operate - you can just set your cook time and temperature setting and it'll cook for that exact amount of time and then switch to warming it until you're ready to serve it. I also like that it comes with a probe thermometer so you can set it to cook meats to your exact desired temperatures. It's also super easy to clean which is a huge plus.

Finally, an elite slowcooker is mine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hamilton Beach Set and Forget Slowcooker is an elite slowcooker with many features to explore. A great feature is the cooking probe for use on a large piece of meat. That is quite appealing to make sure meats get cooked to the appropriate temperature.
Besides the Probe Mode, there are two other cooking modes to explore, Manual and Program Mode. Three modes to explore gives a cook more flexibility and will make my life easier.
The directions enclosed with the Slow Cooker give a number of tips to make a meal come out to perfection. One idea is to save time on cooking day by prepping the ingredients in the crock the night before and in the morning to just put the crock in the Slow Cooker. That's perfect for getting my vegetables cleaned, cut and chopped for a roast.
The slowcooker is a good size for family cooking. The display is digital. There are handles and a Clip Latch. It's a perfect addition to our family and I look forward to cooking many means in our new Hamilton Beach Set and Forget Slow Cooker.

Best All-Purpose Kitchen Assistant

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to have a very old, clunky, leaky crockpot that rarely saw the light of day. It never seemed to get warm enough, but then mysteriously burn on the bottom. I just didn't understand the hype. This beautiful slow cooker is an entirely different beast, bringing easy and joy back to the art of home cooking.
First of all, it's user-friendly no matter your level of expertise. You simply turn it on, select the time, select the heat setting, and you’re done. You can just walk away and the appliance will do all the work for you. It lives up to the name! You can get on with your day and happily forget about dinner until it's time to eat. Once it’s finished, it switches over to the warming setting so your food doesn’t spoil or overcook. This means that if you set it on a Friday night and want to sleep in Saturday morning, you can with complete peace of mind.
If you are cooking a full chicken or some other big piece of meat, you can use the thermometer probe and set your own temperature you want maintained to make sure that meat is cooked properly. It also has one of those lids that locks down with simple lever clamps at each end take it with you; picnics, potlucks, here I come!
I've used mine almost every day since I got it. If you have any doubts, just take the plunge- You won't regret it!
