Don’t recommend.

I got this for Christmas (dec 2021). Once figuring it out, it was easy to use however I found it messy to use.
I had troubles a few times where the filter holder seemed to be not set in correctly in the locked position and would spit out hot coffee. I adjusted it, cleaned the top portion and still would happen from time to time.
My final straw with the product was when it again, did this but instead of just spitting out hot coffee, the filter holder flew out of the machine, hitting my cupboards, spilling hot water, and coffee grinds all over my kitchen.
Will be returning for another product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is the worst espresso machine I've ever owned! The basket remains full of water and spills all over the place when released. Became clogged in 2 weeks. Americano has grit floating on top.
It basically makes cowboy coffee!

It’s okay for the price. I thought when I bought it would do an ok job. I was right it’s okay . It’s pretty loud when you pour the espresso or steam the milk. I always find the milk doesn’t stay hot enough . even when I steam it for a long time and make a latte by the time it takes for me to drink it it’s lukewarm.

Worst machine

I saw this machine online and saw some reviews but they were all probably paid by the brand. They don’t tell you what grind you should be getting and the machine never seems to work. Follow all the instructions but i tried different grind sizes but it just won’t work. Don’t spend your money on this. Save a bit more and buy a more expensive one

Nice starter machine

Got the hang of this machine fairly quickly. I love it’s neat profile on my counter and how straight forward it is to brew good coffee. However, maybe I’m missing something but my biggest gripe is the heating light comes back on mid brew, 5-7 seconds into the pour. That means I either stop the brew till the light goes off or I continue the brew with the heating light on - whichever way I choose, the result is just not hot enough for my liking. I have to stick my newly brewed coffee in the microwave for a quick reheat. Otherwise my coffee gets cold by the time I get to the end of the cup, My cup is always prewarmed and the milk is heated too, so it’s the brew that’s not quite hot enough. That’s why only 4 stars.

Great Espresso machine

I bought one for my son because I save had this same Breville model for over 10 years and it still works great. I highly recommend it. Simply to use and doesn't take up too much space on counter.

We had this same machine at work and I was so happy to be able to buy one for home as well! The machine is a workhorse and has lasted 15 years in my office already with no issues. Love love it!
