It’s great piece for any type of cook, and it’s a beautiful piece to look at. Easy to clean. My family even likes to help when they come over for dinner and fight over who will use the mixer!!

Hoping for another 15+ years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Out of the box come on my mixer motor was making a strange screeching noise and speed 68 and 10 are all the same. I called customer service and they sent me a replacement right away. The shipping and returning of the old one was quick and easy and I was very pleased with the customer service.
This 5 quart KitchenAid replaced a 4 1/2 quart that I got for my wedding 15 years ago. I used it a ton and it served me well. The new 5 quart mixer is a little bit bigger which is nice, and my only complaint is that sometimes my ingredients in the very bottom of the bowl are not incorporated. So I just have to make sure that I scrape the bowl between mixing’s all the way to the bottom. I wonder if the spatula type attachment would solve this problem?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I inherited my grandfather's Kitchen Aid mixer when he died in 1986, and it has been wonderful for 32 years until it began working only on high speed. I bought a new KitchenAid - Artisan® Series 5 Quart Tilt-Head Stand Mixer with the hope I'll be able to pass it on to one of my grandchildren for continued years of excellent use.
