Replacing Old Faithful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After 40 years, my faithful Kitchenaid, gave out. I was so upset, as she was used several times weekly and sat with honor on the countertop. She was such a part of our cooking routine, that both my daughters ask for me to get them their own for their engagements, as they wanted this gift to be from their Mom. The new one is beautiful and sits proudly on my counter. I love the handle on the new bowl, very helpful. Also very quiet, and the included splatter guard is great. With four members of my family having celiac, we do a lot of baking, so she will be getting a big workout.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 25 years ago I had a mishap in the kitchen when I was making cookies for function. My husband went out and bought me my very first KitchenAid mixer. It lasted 25 years! I only replaced it recently because I had an opportunity to purchase one at a silent auction for a fraction of the cost. I'm going to pass on my old one to someone who might need it but can't afford one. This has to be the best mixer I've ever seen or tried! I also love all the attachments that I can use with it especially the pasta makers.
