[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always wanted a KitchenAid stand up mixer but they're so expensive. When I found one at the perfect price point I decided to buy it for myself for Christmas. I wanted a KitchenAid mixer because of their rugged durability as I have burned up several handheld mixers baking my special cookies. The dough tends to be really thick. I like the ability to put my ingredients in the bowl, lock the head, and let it do its thing. I was not disappointed.
