Tried and true workhorse

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this mixer as a gift 4 months ago and it has served me incredibly well in that time. I love to bake, and I’ve kneaded up to 3 batches of bread dough back to back with no problems. I’ve also whipped, mixed, creamed, and beaten many batters, frostings, and mixtures, and have found this product most competent.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the mixer as a gift for Christmas ( it’s the first and only one I have owned) I was so excited I opened it early and made several different kinds of breads and brownies! I’m excited when I use it!!!! I can’t wait to get attachments! I love this machine it works great !

Not my mothers mixer

Grew up using Kitchenaid stand mixer, it was the best, finally bought my own a year ago. Model KSM150PSSM. 1st had to SCOUR intensely using BarKeepers friend to remove the coating from the bowl that turned everything a nasty dark gray. The attachments don't scrape the bowl at all everything is stuck to sides and bottom not being mixed. Yearly x-mas cookies was the test. The slow speeds have no power so after adding some dry ingredients the motor is overloaded, if you turn it up all the flour flies out. 10 speeds is a joke, you have slow, medium and that's about it. Wound up mixing a lot by hand. Overall huge disappointment, cheap foreign construction and materials, doubt it will last very long. I'd take my mothers 60yr old mixer over this piece of cra-p any day.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A work horse!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was gifted this mixer about a month and a half ago> have since made a variety of dishes: tamales, breads, cakes, and less complex tasks like whipping cream. Easy to use and clean!

It works great for all of our recipes and makes baking a pleasure, Would recommend this mixer to anyone who wants a reliable appliance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So happy with the jade green color. This Kitchen Aide should last me until my newborn son is off to college :) my only disappointment is that the white coating on the mixing spatula chipped with the second or third use.
