[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always wanted a stand mixer. I got a few weeks ago and have used it almost every day. I am eating healthier by making more low-carb foods from scratch. It is SO fast and easy. From cakes, muffins, meatloaf, bread to meringue— I love it!

Don’t purchase

My hand mixer died during my last batch of Christmas cookies & still had pies to make. I ran out & saw a good deal on this mixer & decided to treat myself. What a mistake. The plastic bowl cover to prevent flying debris didn’t fit the bowl. Was a busy time so I didn’t get too upset. Next .... while mixing some batter, I realized that the bowl has a concave bottom that all the flour packed itself into & didn’t get mixed in with the batter. That really upset me as it defeats the whole purpose of having a mixer. It should mix, especially at the cost. At clean up time I tried to remove the attachment and it is stuck in place and can’t be removed. I’ve have never in my life experienced this of a kitchen aid product and am greatly disappointed. I now have no desserts & no mixer!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Although the differences are subtle between my older and newer model (bowl size and design, color, speed), I absolutely love it! Am looking forward to "practicing" for the 2018 family Christmas cookie bake.

Can’t believe I didn’t buy one of these sooner! The oyster color is a beautiful glittery black pictures do not do it justice.
