Finally a dryer I enjoy

I have had numerous dryers in my lifetime, This is my first Whirlpool. I love all the features and its simplicity. Because of my busy schedule I am a great one for overlooking getting the clothes out of the dryer. However, with the steam feature it's a real time saver.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Failed Heating element

We purchased a new whirlpool Duet set (washer and Dryer) Within 3 weeks of install, the heating element failed. NO HEAT!!! So after a week of going to the Laundromat, and thankfully still under warranty, our dryer was replaced with a new one. A repairman came out first but did not have the part since it was a new unit and new model?? Oh and because why would a new dryer need a heating element?? LOL!! So now the new dryer is working so far with no issues. Very disappointing start to a not so cheap investment. I recommend you take out an extended warranty on this unit since it is a new model and glitches will arise. We did.

Quiet and Dries Well

I upgraded to a new larger dryer and I am pleased with how much quieter it is and how much better it dries. I am also using the sanitize cycle which is a new feature for me and one recommended by my physician due to a recent temporary infection.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very pleased with the dryer

Unit squeaked during operation upon arrival, but after replacement of a belt, it operates almost silently! Larger items such as bedsheets tend to twist and stay damp in the center, but other than that, all items are dried nicely without problems! Clear instructions in the manual. Thanks!
