Outstanding performance

Bought 5 months ago. Must save me quite a bit on energy costs because it dries so quickly. And the steam cycle saves me when I over dry an item. So far very pleased!

Purchased a different brand, it was very noisy during the spin cycle, the whirlpool duet was recommended. Returned the original washer dryer replaced it with duet. Great machine smooth, quiet, and easy to understand, 74 years old now doing my laundry. Whirlpool looks to me like you got it right.

EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS WASHER IS AWESOME. THE ONLY THING I DIDN'T CARE FOR WAS THE HEIGHT BUT WE FIXED THAT WITH THE DRAWER BASE WHICH WORKED OUT GREAT FOR STORAGE.

A nice unit

This unit does a good job of drying clothes. Haven't tried to steam feature yet. My only complaint is that it seems over-priced when you think about how simple it is to dry clothes these days. My wife wanted a matching dryer to go with the companion washer, this we replaced a working gas dryer that did the job as well as this unit.

BEST BUY EVER!

We bought this product along with the washer a couple of months ago and we have noticed a difference in our clothes (cleaner, less wrinkles), but above all we have noticed a savings in our water and gas bills. I don't know why we did not buy these sooner.

Nice upgrade

I bought my first Duet washer/gas dryer in 2003. The washer lasted 7 years before the main shaft bearings wore into the shaft and created a terrible thumping noise during spin cycles. The gas dryer kept on running strong for 9 years until it stopped heating one day. So I bought a replacement that has steam. Steam refresh is a really neat feature - especially when you forget your laundry and leave it sitting for a while. This feature quickly removes the wrinkles. I am completely satisfied with this $1500 purchase. However, I wish they would standardize on the height of the washer/dryers. The new gas dryer in 2013 was nearly 6 inches taller than the Duet washer from 2010 (which now sits on blocks of wood to make it the same height as the dryer).
