Logitech Harmony Smart Control with Home Hub

Great product, works as advertised! Great multi-device control (with one button) and great customization. I am able to program/control all of my devices including... Yamaha receiver, bell cable box, dreamlink t2, Vizio tv, and Epson projector (was pleasantly surprised it can control my Epson). Each action I need typically requires 3 different devices... For example watching bell cable requires putting the tv on and to the right input, putting the receiver on and to the right input, and putting the bell box on. This remote handles that no problem with the click of one button, and the default programmed buttons are very logical (I guess that's what the "logi" stands for in Logitech). What really impressed me with the customization is the delays I can set in the devices... for example I can set a 12 second delay between when the remote turns the tv on and when it tells the tv to go to input 3 (which gives the tv time to warm up before it is able to accept other commands). Also, the remote can tell if a device is on or off, so if you press off, and for whatever reason a device is already off, it won't turn the device back on. The range of the hub is great as well, the distance between my hub (placed under the tv) and remote is 20 ft. and it performs better than any of the stock remotes that the Logitech/harmony one replaces. I would definitely recommend getting it!!

I was not sure how Harmony remote will fit my needs. it was very straight forward to follow Installation instructions and now my 6 remotes are in a box. I have dedicated button for watching TV, Netflix, Apple TV and Google dongle over surround sound system. Of course, added bonus is asking Google assistant for different settings...

My third time round

My first Harmony remote was hard to understand at the beginning. I didn't realize that activity buttons controlled more than one device depending on how long you pressed the control. Finally after 3 years or so it refused to work. The second one was at a bargain price. It was fine but wouldn't operate the up/down or left/right on my PS3: I suspected it was a rebuild. I gambled on buying a new one and could not be more pleased. Works great with a little experimentation.
