This dishwasher washes well and is pretty quiet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher was purchased a year ago by our contractor for our new build. Within about three months of using it 1-2 times per week, we noticed that the stainless steel showed a lighter strip (about 4-5 inches) going across the entire width of the exterior door. The appliance store replaced the door panel. Again, after a few uses, the new panel is also notably lighter in the same place. It appears that the lighter strip is where the silverware holder fits on the inside of the door. I moved the utensil holder to the lower rack. It may be a defect in the design.

Works OK, does the job

Moved to new home and ordered all whirlpool appliances because that is what I had in my previous home and was very impressed with the quality of the products. Whirlpool quality has gone down the toilet, will not buy again any Whirlpool product.

QUIET AND CLEANS WELL

Whirlpool Stainless Steel Dishwasher

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Now that I've had some time using my dishwasher, I've found good and bad. Very sleek looking and very quiet running. I love the wine glass holders and I love that I can get a lot of plates in the bottom rack. I also like that I can move the cutlery tray and use it on the door or along the side of the bottom rack. But, the top rows aren't fitting any of my cups or bowls - soup, dessert. They don't fit properly in the bottom, either. The top middle row is a little too wide so my bowls won't sit properly and the other rows are too narrow so I can't get very many cups and glasses in because they have to overlap into the next row to fit. There is no way to adjust any of the top rack rows to make them fit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
