Not a great purchase

Unreliable unit, expensive to repair

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We've moved into a new place that had a 2 year old dishwasher that stopped working. In order to properly repair it, we needed to replace the main board and the cost was pretty close to what we would have paid to buy a new one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Super quiet

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I love my new dishwasher. It is amazingly quiet. I do have problems with once and while dirty dishes after cleaning but think its more the way i'm loading it. Overall it is a very good dishwasher.

Does the job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought about a month ago, seems to wash well, the only thing really dissappointed with is the size of silverware bin tops. We have large silverware base and they don't fit into all the slots for the best cleaning. I like the look of the outside.

Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Disappointed with this Whirlpool dishwasher. The interior of the dishwasher was extremely wet after the dry cycle, with droplets of water all over the walls, the ceiling of the dishwasher and all the plates and utensils. I called tech-support thinking something was wrong with the dishwasher and was told that I need to add ‘chemical drying agent’ each time. Who wants to add more chemicals when cleaning their dishes? I was told that it’s an efficient dishwasher and the chemical drying agent ‘helps conserve energy’ when it comes to the operation of the dishwasher. Never before did we have to add chemical drying agents to any of our dishwashers in 30+ years.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Light and nice features for the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this dishwasher for a few weeks now. My wife liked it because the silverware basket attaches to the door. It is easy to load and it cleans the dishes well with the sensor, heated wash together with the sanitize mode.
It is not attractive in regards to the exterior in my opinion
Consumer Reports gave it good ratings for cleaning and it does not disappoint.
This is definitely a track house lower end appliance. It weighs nothing and one person can easily load it. With that said, I'll be happy if lasts 5 years. It is almost entirely made of plastic and the design is heavily proportioned to build it as cheap as possible. If you are ok with this, I would buy it. If not, I would buy a Bosch or better designed/built model if you can find it. I couldn't order a Bosch. Good Luck.
