This is an excellent dishwasher, cleans well and is very quiet for the price. I have not explored all the functions yet. I do miss my last Whirlpool unit with a door having a latch rather than pulling it straight open.Using rinse aid really helps keep excess water away after a cleaning cycle.

We purchased our Whirlpool Dishwasher about 6 weeks ago....the ability to have the silverware drawer hang on the door, instead of in the rack, is what sold my wife. I was doubtful...but, after 6 weeks, we now fight over who gets to load and who gets to start it. I'm a silverware drawer loader and my wife is a silverware door hanger loader...either way it washes beautifully. Also, both of us marvel at the quietness of the dishwasher and the added room for dishes and glasses. Thank you Whirlpool.

We bought this new dishwasher after many years of faithful service from our old one (a Maytag). The new dishwasher has more features and functions and we're very pleased with it. It holds a surprising amount of cutlery/dishes and is so quiet you're not sure it's on until you see the blue light. I am a loyal Whirlpool customer for many of my appliances and once again it's clear that Whirlpool offers the best value and most efficient way to go.

Enjoying our new dishwasher!

I bought this a couple of months ago. It is basic, easy to use, and gets the dishes clean. I enjoy the new features that allows you to clasp a couple of small covers or similar thing in so it doesn't end up melted at the bottom of the dishwasher. It does not have all the fancy gadgets on the outside, but I was going for simple, practical, and inexpensive. It meets all these.

Regret purchasing this dishwasher

After 5 months dishwasher lights started flashing and machine would stop working mid-cylce. Repairman was sent and said computer needed to be replaced. Still waiting for Whirlpool to locate the part... Very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
