I bought this dishwasher three weeks ago and am very happy with it. It runs so quietly that I don't even know it's still running. It does a great job cleaning my dishes. I feel it's a very good dishwasher for the money.
I bought a new Whirlpool because my old Whirlpool worked so well and lasted so long. Unfortunately I'm not pleased with the drying ability of the new dishwasher. The old washer worked simply without drying agent by drying with high heat. The new washer seems to require chemical drying agent and doesn't do as good of a job drying even with the extra chemicals. Also, the rack doesn't seem to hold the dishes as well as the old rack, with too much space to allow the dishes to flop around and not stand up regardless of how they are loaded.
We replaced our old Viking dishwasher and it has cut our clean time in half. I used to have to scrub the dishes well before putting them in and they'd still come out dirty. This has been a welcome change. It's fairly quiet, easy to use, plenty of room (I like the moveable silverware holder that can go on the door) and wasn't super expensive.
Easy to install. Cleans dishes very well but use a drying agent as recommended.Very quiet while running and I use the "Sensor" setting and let the dishwasher figure out how much time and water are needed. I could have spent a lot more but this one does the job for a lot less.
I had a more expensive model from another manufacturer but it just didn't clean my dishes and left a film on all the plasticware. This Whirlpool dishwasher is doing a wonderful job of getting my dishes clean and spot free and it cost much less to purchase. We should have stuck with the Whirlpool brand. Never again do I let my husband choose our appliances!
I have had my Whirlpool dishwasher about two months. It cleans the dishes etc. very well. Im very happy with it. I do find the door very hard to open however.
