I bought this Whirlpool dishwasher two weeks ago. I love it, the sensor is the greatest. I have even washed a full load on the one hour cycle what a great job that cycle does. I had gravy with lots of grease on the plates and on the pans which I washed on that one hour cycle Not a drop of any grease left on silverware, pots, dishes. Wonderful Product, thank you Whirlpool

Surprised but it has only been a week

I'm surprised for a mid-priced dishwasher I was not sure what performance I would get. So far; dishes come out very clean. My only complaint is the cutlery rack which being on the door and differently structured than the usual racks has some getting used to. It is versatile though as it can be placed on the door and in the rack. There is no adjustable rack for bigger things but it suffices. It is relatively quiet; the usual noise. There is a filter I still have to read about on how to use it. Overall; after a couple of weeks, it's ok; ask me again in a year or so.

It works!!

Last year I purchased a new GEAdora dishwasher. From the beginning the dishwasher was s problem, weird noises and never cleaned well. After 4-5 service calls gave up and purchased this one sight unseen. Just wanted a dishwasher that works. This one does the job, no complaints except I don't love the silverware holder is in the door, you have to slide bottom take in to get to. Since I took the sales man's word for I can't complain.
I would recommend this to a friend!

cleans well doesn't dry well

It cleans the dishes quite nicely and I love the sanitize feature but it does not leave the dishes dry when the cycle is done even when the hear dry is on and the sanitize setting is off.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Dishwasher Drying

I bought a new Whirlpool because my old Whirlpool worked so well and lasted so long. Unfortunately I'm not pleased with the drying ability of the new dishwasher. The old washer worked simply without drying agent by drying with high heat. The new washer seems to require chemical drying agent and doesn't do as good of a job drying even with the extra chemicals.Also, the rack doesn't seem to hold the dishes as well as the old rack, with too much space to allow the dishes to flop around and not stand up regardless of how they are loaded.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
