I bought this a few months ago and so far it has been working great! We have been very pleased with it and it's nice how the settings are set for auto detect. The only thing I would want to change is how long the cycle is. The auto cycle takes around 2 hrs to finish.
I replaced an older worn out version of this dishwasher and found that Whirlpool made several improvements such as the flatware cover now has a latch so it doesn't fall open. This is a very good dishwasher for the price.
Really like how you can move the silverware basket...washer cleans very well...it's very quiet an you can pick the soil sensor or make it a light wash....only thing that I'm not thrilled about (from my understanding is all newer washers) is that the heating element doesn't get as hot as the old ones due to the energy efficiency...so some times your dishes are still slightly wet when the cycle is done...over all great product!!
Dishes very clean. Dishwasher very quiet. A basic dishwasher at a very good price, and rated as beingvery reliable. Cons: a bit smaller capacity than we're used to, and a tiny flatware basket. We're using our old basket instead.
We replaced a Whirlpool dishwasher that was here when we bought the house over 16 years ago. It gave us good service for a long time. I did some investigating and decided it would be a safe choice to go with Whirlpool again. It looks like electricity rates are going up so I like the fact that my new Whirlpool is Energy Star qualified. It is also amazingly quiet when running. I think that I made a choice I can feel good about.
I purchased this appliance in September as part of a kitchen remodel and update. I replaced Whirlpool appliances that were more 20 years old with new Whirlpool appliances. I've been very pleased with it. It's operation is quiet - much quieter than my old one - and using it was intuitive although I did read the directions just to be sure. I'm very pleased with the appliance.
