Works great!

We bought this dishwasher about a month ago because our old dishwasher had a crack and was leaking. It is great. It is quiet and washes the dishes well. I also like the heated dry feature. Great dishwasher!

Buyer beware

We bought this dishwasher on 8/25/15 the first few times using it wasn't getting the dishes dry. So my husband called the 800 number he went through all the checks with them there was nothing wrong with they way it was set up, finally the person at the 800 number told us that we need to let the dishwasher season for at least 35 days been's it was a plastic tub and not a steel one. I have never heard of having to let a dishwasher season before, cast iron skillet yes but dishwasher no. I had a Maytag dishwasher for 14 years and never had any problem's with it and it too was a plastic tub and it always dried the dishes just fine. We waited the 35 days and it is still not drying the dishes. And we have been told that we can not return it because it is past the 30 days.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quiet and works great!

I've had this dishwasher for about a month and I love it. It is even quieter than anticipated - you can have a conversation in the kitchen while it's running! It does a great job of cleaning everything. The installer said that the little concentrated detergent packs work best and so far I've had great results with the cheaper store brand. Utensils are clean too - which is great as I was unsure about the caddy being on the door.Rinse aid is a must with our hard water.

I Bought my dishwasher about a couple of months ago.. Black in color to match my stove and refrigerator.. Plenty of room inside, quiet while working.. I would recommend it to anyone...Thanks Maytag for such a wonderful item.

I replaced an older worn out version of this dishwasher and found that Whirlpool made several improvements such as the flatware cover now has a latch so it doesn't fall open. This is a very good dishwasher for the price.
