Extremely disappointed

I have always loved Whirlpool dishwashers so when my I needed to replace my existing dishwasher that was in the house I purchased I didn't hesitate to go for Whirlpool. I have had this dishwasher for 9 months now and hate it more every day. There is never a load of dishes that come out clean. I have used the silverware rack on the door, on the bottom shelf, with the cover up and cover down. Silverware is never completely clean. I end up having to rewash many of the dishes in each load. The cups on the top rack always have dried crusted stuff on the inside of the cup in almost every load. The dishes are scraped and or rinsed before being loaded. I have been using dishwasher for the past 35 years so I know that I didn't suddenly forget how to load a dishwasher. I have tried different detergents, both pods and liquid. Always have rinse aid in it. Clean the filter multiple times a week. Run cleaning cycles endlessly and nothing helps no matter how I load it. There are only 2 adults in the house so it is not being crammed full of dishes and it never sits with dishes waiting to be run only once a week. It is run almost daily. When I look to see what is covered under the warranty to about having someone come out to look at it it doesn't specify if it will be covered and I can't afford a service call. Not real helpful to have an appliance that is still almost brand new and has never worked properly. I wish I could recommend this product but I just can not.

Very Quiet

Now that we have used this dishwasher for a while we love it. It works wonderfully and we hardly notice it, sometimes I find myself bending over to see if it's running when I started it. Also the dishes come out completely clean.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We love our new dishwasher.It is so quiet, we can"t hear it running. Dishes & glasses come out sparkling clean. We're so glad we decided on a Whirlpool.

Okay Dishwasher

I bought this dishwasher approximately one month ago. It does clean the dishes but the dry heat cycle does not do very well and the dishes need to be wiped off before putting them away.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I hate this dishwasher!

We bought this dishwasher in July after our previous Whirlpool dishwasher started messing up. We absolutely hate it. The filter stinks no matter how many times you clean it. It doesn't get the dishes clean. We constantly have to rewash dishes by hand because of this. It is much louder than our old whirlpool dishwasher. I would never recommend this product to anyone. My father had bought the same dishwasher and it failed on him to the point his insurance had to come in and replace his kitchen cabinets because one of the seals broke and flooded the kitchen. I can't not believe Whirlpool makes such a horrible product. We will be going with a different manufacturer for our next product.

I love my new Whirlpool dishwasher with the sensor cycle....in this day and age when water is in short supply in some parts of the country its great to find an appliance that saves water and does such a great job washing dishes....Thank you Whirlpool.
