[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Though it's taken some getting used to, we've been pleased with the Whirlpool dishwasher. Certainly the items we've introduced into this appliance have been thoroughly cleaned--the most important feature. The control panel, however, is difficult to see and the washing duration nearly collides with eternity. We find the noise level quite acceptable and the simplicity of the control panel a novel joy. And, thank God, this Whirlpool model is NOT connected to the internet!

Works but …

Been using this dishwasher for close to a year. Works, but has issues. Loud for a great room setting, doesn’t dry the silverware well and doesn’t always clean the silverware either. Tried using it on the 1 hr cycle and the dishes do not always come out clean. I have to scrap and rinse before the dishes go in, so defeats the purpose for a dishwasher. Also there was a black scum on the interior after a year which necessitated the interior to be wiped down.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Basic, but reliable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a ‘starter’ level appliance, but works reliably. It doesn’t dry dishes well, but most don’t do a fabulous job. I’ve gotten in the habit of opening the door after it had finished drying and allowing the dishes to finish drying by room air.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago. I don't use it that often. But when I do it is very quiet and cleans well and easy to use. The one complaint I do have is with the silverware holder. It is not compatible with all types of silverware and I do not like where it is located.
