[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dishwasher 3 weeks ago. So far it's been running pretty good. It cleans and dries the dishes fairly well. The noise level is lower that I expected.

Not Whirlpool's fault, but I want my old dishwasher back.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old dishwasher (approximately 15 years old) cleaned the dishes the same, if not better, in less time. I was informed that due to new regulations, the amount of water used is less, so it must keep washing the dishes with the old water, and that is why it takes so much longer. My old dishwasher did a great job with any dish detergent. This one states that it needs a high quality dish detergent and liquid drying agent. The amount of time it takes to clean the dishes, the same as my old washer, is so much longer, and I worry about the amount of electricity I am now using. The longer time for the same cleaning result means that I may not be able to complete the stacking, cleaning, and putting the dishes away before bed. This just leaves as extra burden the next morning, before completing other tasks, and going to work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
