Let me start by saying I recently moved. I purchased a new house with brand new appliances. Prior to moving a few months ago I had to replace my previous dishwasher. I know how well a dishwasher should dry or is capable of drying dishes. This Whirlpool is one that you should run away from. Far Far Away. In no way shape or form does this thing even remotely dry dishes. Everything comes out wet. I understand some dishes will hold some water at times but I'm talking about the entire inside of the dishwasher being wet. My previous dishwasher if you put it on sanitize steam would come out when it was in the drying cycle. I am using detergent with drying agent built into it as well as drying agent within the dispenser in the door. It just doesn't work. I am very very very unhappy. I know Whirlpool makes other brands of appliances and the next time I need to buy another Appliance I will shy away from this brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The only complaint is the placement to the silverware area .
