Does not dry as promised

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dishwasher runs as promised. For the price, it does a great job at cleaning dishes and silverware. However, even with the heating element, it does not leave your dishes dry as promised. The heating element only dried dishes the first time. If you would like a dishwasher that dries your dishes, this isn’t the one for you.

Whirlpool Dishwasher

One of our first endeavors in the new place was to add a dishwasher as part of the kitchen reno. I am really happy with this unit. It is very similar to the one we had in our previous house, and works just as well.

Good...but....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only one "issue", which hardly counts: With our old Whirlpool dishwasher, with air dry chosen, the dishes were so hot at the end of the wash that they air dried quickly with the door open. Now, they are hot, but not as hot, so air dry does not work as well. And on sensor wash, they now aren't hot enough to air dry well at all. I suspect this is an energy feature, but I don't care for it. Having to use the dry cycle is not energy efficient. Also, the new wine glass holder out of plastic does not air dry well at all, it holds water and dribbles. I never had a need for a wine glass holder in the past.
