First Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am 36 years old, and this is the first time that I have ever owned a dishwasher. And I couldn't be happier with my first one. This Whirlpool model is extremely quiet, and it does a great job of getting the dishes clean. The wash settings provide a different kind of cycle for every washing situation, and the innovation of the sensor cycle, where the dishwasher reads how heavy/dirty the load of dishes is and adjusts the amount of water accordingly, is a great feature that will hopefully save on water and energy. The location of the silverware holder at the bottom of the door also saves space on the lower rack. The controls are not too complicated and very easy to learn to run. The one complaint that I have is that other than the 1-hour wash setting, all of the other wash settings take quite a long time to complete, with all the rest of them coming in at over 2 hours. Other than that, this dishwasher seems to be very high quality and will hopefully last for many years into the future.
