[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so impressed with this dishwasher!! My glasses sparkle, the plates shine, I just love it!! I put pans in without soaking or scrubbing and they come out spotless!! It runs so quite you really have to listen to know it's running!! I wish it had a cycle timer so I could see how much time is left, but I love it anyways!! The inside is so pretty!

A Couple of Design Flaws, But an Overall Good Value

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Does a nice job of washing at an excellent price.Design flaw #1: The silverware basket is too small however. It just will not hold enough silverware and cooking utensils for our family of four from just breakfast and supper (everyone is gone at lunchtime). We ended up using the basket form our old washer which is a less than perfect fit with prongs form the rack sticking up through it. Also, the basket that comes with it can be placed in the bottom rack or mounted on the door. But, when mounted on the door, it doesn't stay in place and things in the bottom rack catch on it when rolling in and out.Design flaw #2: The door does not lay flat when open unless there is the weight of the rack with dishes on it. Also, be aware, that the door will leak if the washer isn't leveled properly. The washer does a nice job of washing at a great price. I would not let these flaws discourage you from buying. I'm just hoping the manufacturer listens and improves them. Other areas for improvement: It's a little noisy, but, you get used to it. It only has a 4 hour timer. It would be nice to be able to set it for other intervals.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new Whirlpool dishwasher has been the perfect replacement after my 23 years old Whirlpool dishwasher stopped working. Actually, I probably could have had my old one fixed, but felt it was time for a new one. My new dishwasher is so quiet that I sometimes stay in the kitchen an extra minute waiting for sounds so I know it is running. Everything comes out sparkling clean and I never have to re-wash anything. Based on other reviews, I had concerns about things not drying properly. That was not a problem. I usually start the washer in the evening and take the clean dishes out the next morning. Everything is always completely dry. Of course, nothing is perfect, but the only thing I don't like is that when I open the door, I need to push it all the way down as it stops before it is completely down. That's a minor inconvenience considering how well this dishwasher performs.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this dishwasher for two developmentally handicapped gentlemen getting their first apartment. We were interested in an appliance that was functional for them. They were able to quickly learn to operate this dishwasher and were independently using it within one week.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My prior dishwasher was also a Whirlpool. After many, many years and daily use it died. The next day I went to my local dealer and purchased another Whirlpool. It's a remarkable unit which has many features. It operates quietly and efficiently. The drying cycle is exceptional!
