Good Price/Performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I bought this it was a compromise that I felt was a good idea since it was carried by a local appliance dealer that I have known and bought from for many years, and it turns out to have been a good choice with just a bit of a caveat. Because it is a newer model than what I had by many years, I had to adapt to the fact that it had to be used differently than the old one, and that has meant that I have to run it when in the mornings when I get up rather than running it at night when I go to bed. The difference is of course that because it is a "water wise" appliance, it has to be opened within about 15 minutes of finishing its job or the moisture that is in it will condense and allow water to accumulate inside the machine. I am also a bit uncomfortable with the silverware tray that is attached to the door of the machine rather than inside the body of it like my previous dishwasher had, but that is primarily a matter of getting used to the differences between the old and the new. I am mostly satisfied with the machine and I would very likely buy it again if I had need of another purchase, (which I hope I won't for many years!).

Basic dishwasher

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) For a basic dishwasher with no bells and whistles it does what its suppose to do, clean your dishes. The machine has been working well and I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet it runs. In an open concept house, you can barely hear it running.

Getting used to a Whirlpool

Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this dishwasher to replace an earlier model of the same design. The old dishwasher had an independent rinse cycle which allowed us to wait several days before actually running the clean cycle. This model does not have that feature. Also the old dishwasher dried the dishes. This model does not dry to flatware and the inside of the tube is always damp. New is not always better
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
