Although it's cheap to buy. There is no app you can use as a remote ( Like every Smart Tv does ) The internet browser does not play many video clips online. Bottom line: The picture quality is good but the smart part is not as smart as you would want it to be. THIS TV NEEDS A SOFTWARE UPDATE. SONY PLEASE PROVIDE ONE.

Easy to install and setup WIFI connections. My old TV was a Sony 1080P projection set that I thought had a great picture quality until I got the R510A. A wonderful improvement.

Hi TDubua, We are so happy that you liked the TV. Thank you for your feedback!
I am very glad that I purchased a Sony 60 inch TV. It makes you feel like you are part of the action. It has a great, clear picture, with vibrant colors. However, the sound could be better. I have a sound bar, so all is OK. I would recommend this to anyone. Most of the electronics I have are Sony. All my TV"s have been Sony. I have tried other TVs, but sony is the best.

Hi fredfjm, good to hear that you're glad with your purchase! Your feedback is also appreciated and will be forwarded to the proper department. Thank you for choosing Sony! Regards,
Basically, it is an ok television. My last sony came with a wall mount included. This one did not. Also, the manual is not very comprehensive. Had to search online to find out how to enter a URL in the web browser.

Verified Purchase:Yes
The bad- no Hulu Plus, Amazon video, or skype. Lacking some smart features. All this can be fixed with a wifi blue ray player (model bdps3200 or better) The good- great price, wireless or wired connection, built in netflix button on the remote, built in RVU feature if you have direct tv with wired internet no need for a receiver. Crystal clear picture and awesome sound. It is mountable also

Hi jdmjon51, we're glad to hear about your feedback and that you love the TV. Your feedback will be forwarded to the proper department. Thank you! Regards,
The name Sony for me for a long time meant I was going to get a quality product towards the higher end of whatever electronics category I was looking to buy. Sony has always been a "When I'm not sure about this technology, buy a Sony and I can't go wrong" type of brand; however, this TV shook that belief for me. After waiting years and years to finally buy a LED TV, I saw my opportunity to surprise my wife with a smart TV on Christmas. I went with my, "go with Sony and I can't go wrong" approach. I even passed up a 65" listed at the same price because I knew Sony would not let me down. I got let down for the first time by Sony in dealing with this TV. First off, let me start by saying the picture on this TV is beautiful. That part of the TV definitely lived up to my expectations I've come to expect from Sony; however, if you're looking for a smart TV, you may want to shop around a bit more. My wife is a HUGE Amazon Prime user. A big part of the reason I bought a smart TV was so she could stream instant videos from her Amazon account. So when I had to tell her that the TV I bought for her cannot get the Amazon app, you can imagine the egg on my face on Christmas day. This TV also doesn't have HULU, which is the other big streaming service we use...strike two...strike three was how clumsy the internet feature of this TV is. Navigating in the browser was a pain and very annoying. I've read where buying the extra internet remote helps out with this but who wants to have to do that??? After buying what I thought was a smart TV, I ended up still having to purchase the Amazon Fire stick just so my wife could use that service. Had I known I was going to have to buy a streaming device anyway, I would have bought a regular TV. I had to go with only two stars on this review since it's suppose to be a smart TV but fell short. I'm afraid to say I can no longer go with my "Sony" safe bet when buying technology I'm not too familiar with.
