Will never own another Whirlpool product

The magnetic door lock is a common problem seen on-line and for me. Constantly get the "F29" code on the machine and have to spend hours trying to get the door unlocked. Now the machine will shut off before a cycle is complete. I have always been a loyal Whirlpool customer but will NEVER purchase another product with the Whirlpool name attached.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Design Flaw

I have had this washer for several years. I am happy with the performance of the washer, but after only 3 years the plastic covering the buttons has broken as has the start button. This has happened on both the washer and dryer. It is very expensive to replace.I have always been brand loyal to Whirlpool because of their quality, but no more.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We bought this set of washer and dryer to change from an older set to something more modern and efficient and have loved it every day since. Units are very energy efficient and quiet. Stackable or side by side with the base to store the detergents they save tons of space. Best of all clothes are washed great every time and units have never required any repairs after heavy use for over 7 years in a military family of 5 and multiple house moves. Best washer set we have ever owned.
I would recommend this to a friend!
