Have speaker for at least 2 years and i use it in my snowmobile at -25 degrees with no problem in the cold, sound great and handles all the bouncing in the snowmobiles trunk. Greatest speaker ever.
I've had this for about two years now. love the sound, especially the bass from the side speaker. i took it to work every now and then and coworkers kept saying it has a very good sound. thanks for the quality, JBL.
after two years, it seems the battery doesn't last as long anymore, which is normal. gotta look into replacing the battery.
I love my JBL charge! I have had it for more than a year. It is so convenient taking it with you and the Bluetooth connection is very good, never had a problem with music dropping. The sound quality is awesome! I really like that it has a decent bass response. I would not say that it has excellent bass response, but the bass it has keeps it from sounds like a tin can. I would recommend!
I had a Jbl charge 2 speaker that was bought 3 months ago at Ashdod Port Israel duty free shop. When I used it. It has a great kind of music delivered. But the social and hands free mode isn't working. But i don't have the chance to return it because im working as a seaman. But now all the feature isnt working at all the Bluetooth mode is not blinking and doesnt have light only the power button and the Volume keys. Please be so kind to assist me with my concern. Thank you.
My iPhone 5S will not connect via Bluetooth----just keeps searching for device. I can use the JBL with a cord to listen to music--but can't listen to wireless?? Suggestions?

Thank you for your comments. Try removing/unpairing the JBL Charge from your Bluetooth list on your iPhone 5S. Restart your phone and power the JBL Charge on and place it in pairing mode. Pair both devices again. If you are still having issues, please contact us directly by selecting the support link above.
Worked great at first... now cant charge it... and even when plugged in does not appear to be capable of broadcasting music... even when appearing to be connected... really disappointing for the $150 ... to last essentially 1 year, with fairly limited use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought the JBL Charge and loved it. It worked great and provided fantastic sound. I used it occasionally as a backup speaker. It was perfect for vacations and random areas of the house. Unfortunately, the battery is awful. It doesn't hold a charge (ironically named) and has to stay plugged in. I considered getting another one but I couldn't justify it. This would be a great product if they could fix the battery issue. Proceed with caution and read the other reviews of people who have had it for more than 6 months.
My JBL Charge was great - for the first year. Then, about a month after it was out of warranty, it stopped charging. Now it will only 'trickle-charge' from the USB of a computer, taking 8 hours + for a full charge, making it virtually useless for someone like me who wants to use it regularly.
