My JBL Charge was brilliant, while it worked. Not much use over 2 years, regularly charged, and now it doesn't.. charge that is. Permanently flat and won't accept a charge. Disappointing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for your review. We appreciate all customer feedbacks. Please try using a similar charging cable @2A and plug it into a different power outlet to isolate the issue. I noticed that you are in Australia. If you are still having issues, please submit a case at support.apac@harman.com and our Customer Service team will be glad to assist you.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've got a flip.charge and 5 clip by speakers.the sound cannot be beat.loudest speakers I have so far followed by tdk's.full rich sound
My wife gave me a Charge for Christmas over a year ago. In the summer I didn't go outside without it! Being a wheelchair user, I rolled it onto my lap before going out. The Charge will play extremely loud, while maintaining it's clarity. I have also had it roll off my lap onto our cement patio many times. It has as 1 or 2 dings but usually is saved by the hard rubber rings on each end, it is solidly made & the rich sound is unharmed!! The Charge's bassy sound is unmatched by any other portable speaker I've heard.
The quality is good. However, when I connect it to my computer with the cable that came with the unit, it will only play 1-2 songs before it stops playing sound. I then have to turn it off and back on again, and the whole cycle starts again. Very annoying.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We're sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with your feedback. It is possible that what you are experiencing is due to the CHARGE's power saving feature. It is auto sensing and will turn off if no audio signal is detected for approximately 10 minutes. So, if you have the volume on the CHARGE cranked up, and the volume on your source device set really low, it is very possible that the CHARGE is not seeing enough of an audio signal to know to stay on. Please try turning the volume on the CHARGE down a bit, and then crank up the volume on your source device to get to the level you desire. This will send a signal to the CHARGE and it should stay on without any issues.
