Elegantly Simple Design, Outstanding Performance

Superb sound; clean and balanced accross the whole frequency range. The bass output, thanks to the port on the end of the Charge, is clear and deep. The firts bluetooth pairing couldn't be easier, and switching the connection to another device is equally easy by simply holding down the power button to put the Charge back into pairing mode. The Charge is going to be a must-pack item for all of my travelling from now on!

Love JBL Charge

So far so good. I was debating between this and the boss sound link mini. I went with JBL because of the longer battery life, included case and it was $50 cheaper. While the Charge may not have as much bass as the bose, it still sounds excellent and I've always been a big fan of JBL because of their quality. I also love how this device can CHARGE all of your portable devices. Don't get me wrong, the bass on this does sound pretty good. I've listened to music and watched some movies and everything sounded great. I couldn't believe how amazing movies sounded on this device. The way sound was produced was pretty impressive. I was able to hear all sorts of detail. Nice job JBL!! If you're searching for a bluetooth speaker, I'd recommend this.

Awesome, Love it, great sound and long battery life makes this the best thing in a long time! Yea I would recommend it over and over to anyone that want to know about one!..

bluetooth not working in Nokia C-2

I have a JBL Charge i bought it about an hour ago and when i test it using my nokia C-2 via bluetooth it says “service not supported by other device” i cant use it via bluetooth! i thought “The JBL Charge portable speaker streams stereo music wirelessly from any Bluetooth®-equipped device”?...... then why its not working in nokia C2?, but it is working by using a cable, but im expecting also that it also working via blue tooth! im very disappointed and im planning to return it tommorow

My partner in a Golf Tournament had the blue version, asked if I mind a little music during our round, of course not! Well wasn't I surprised with the big sound coming from something the size of a large energy drink. Unlike the tinny sound satellite radio plays through most car speakers, this little gal packs a decent wallop. All volume levels sound crisp AND there's bass, wow! Saw the Bose & other portable speakers at BestBuy a few months back. Bose way, way overpriced (as usual) and others not suited for outdoor use, especially riding next to a liquid refreshment in a golf cart. I couldn't purchase my own fast enough...

Excellent - another great JBL speaker product

Take on boat, take to beach, back patio, where ever. Dynamite size/shape, about the size of a 24oz beer can/energy drink, so can easily fit into larger drink cup holders in car/boat/beach chair. Great size to toss into backpack, bag or cooler side. Just left beach with it, plenty loud even on very windy day, had to keep turned down on some occasions because too loud. Crisp clean sounds, nice bass, easy controls, finds nearby Bluetooth devices easy. Great battery life, didn't get all the way to 12 hours of continuous use, but good for all day at beach at high volumes until you can get back to the room (or bar) for a charge. $150 price is worth it - highly recommended. Amazing how that big a sound comes out of such a small unit.
