including the Bose, the Pill, monster clarity, Braven 600, Jawbone to name a few and this one is the best by far. Its very loud and has good base. The base on the Bose is a bit better but this one is way more portable and half the price. Buy It, you won't be disappointing!!!imporrtantlyone

Excellent Choice For The Money

After reading many online reviews (and hearing the Jawbone Jamboxes owned by friends) I decided on the JBL Charge. Shortly after buying it, however, I read such a positive review of the Logitech UE Mini Boom that I decided to give it a listen at a local Best Buy. One of their employees also recommended the JBL Charge. I decided to buy them both and compare them against the Charge. Results: the UE Mini Boom had surprisingly low volume and very flat sound. The Flip was louder, with better sound, but lacking enough bass for me. The Charge was just as loud as the Flip, had great sound, and the extra bass that I wanted. For the money, I don't think it can be beat. I'm keeping the Charge.

I did a lot of researching for my birthday present. I am a very financially responsible person and after looking at all the present options, this was totally the best value and choice. The sound is only second to Bose but the options - able to charge my phone and the use of my phone for my bluetooth music source, USB cord, carrying case, the ability to adjust the volume on the speaker, and most of all, the 10+hours of playtime makes this an all around winner. I use it around the house and a full day in the operating room.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this JBL Charger and I LOVE it. The sound and clarity is Exceptional. Actually it sounds better than the other competitor #thepillbydrdrebutyoudidnt getthatfromme. I bought this to take to work with me so I can hear my music around the loud machines I work around.......and it can be heard clearly. I am so glad I bought this Charger.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This small speaker sounds wonderful. Unfortunately, the first one I purchased just stopped working and I was unable to turn it on or off, plus there was no sound. I returned the unit and re-order the same speaker. Maybe, I received a bad one. At any rate, let me see what happens with this one.

Just buy it you will love it.I combined it with PANDORA ONE 3.50 charge a month.The sound ist great It"s call 4.0 it" great.

Worked well at first. Everyone at work liked hearing my music! It quit working after less than 6 months and I didn't keep the receipt to get warranty work. 150.00 down the drain! Keep your receipt!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
