Perfect

I have friends and family that have other portable B/T speakers and this has as good or better sound than all of those. Love the long battery life as well and able to charge your device. Hint! go to your settings on your music source and adjust the Equalizer settings makes a big difference. Well done JBL

Bluetooth Range

Bought today and right out of the box the sound was fantastic. Already charged and within literally 30 seconds my iPhone was synched and playing Flo-Rida.
The range is amazing also and to test this I went at least 35ft away from the speaker and the Bluetooth was still going strong without stuttering.
Sounds like a full blown stereo sound close by and at a distance. Sounds and performs so good I am going to buy the next one next week to use at work or in the garage, outside etc.

Great Product for the price

I bought this product for my wife for Christmas for her office. We listened to it on Christmas Eve and I was blown away by the sound quality. Decent bass for such a small speaker and great clarity on mid range and highs. I took it with me to work and a friend there who has a Bose Soundlink was also impressed. I bought one for myself the day after Christmas. Also love the ability to charge my phone with it. The only negative I have found is it is difficult to pair another device to it. I had to unpair my phone and turn off bluetooth before I could pair it to another device. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality portable speaker

Great Sound and easy to sync to decives

Great sound for a small portable speaker. It paired easily to my devices
(both Apple products so far but will add a laptop soon). Have not tested the full blown volume yet but fills a good size family room on medium volume. Very clear with hints of base.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Better Than JBL Flip and Bose Soundlink Mini

I originally had purchased the JBL Flip which was very good in sound quality. The only drawbacks were the lack of a USB charger and the very short battery life.Then unfortunately I lost the speaker and decided to go for an upgraded speaker. I purchased the Bose SoundLink Mini and the sound quality just wasn't as good as the Flip, so I returned the speaker for a refund. Then I saw the new JBL Charge speaker which over came the two short comings of the flip - short battery life and no USB charging port. The JBL charge has a USB charging port, up to a 12 hour battery life per single charge, and best of all, the overall sound quality was noticeably better than the JBL Flip and the Bose SoundLink Mini. I purchased the JBL Charge Shadow model because it was all black - the JBL Charge Black model is really grey in color. I am very satisfied with the purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for the best sound quality and battery life.

I brought the JBL Charge just yesterday, (12/17/2013). I knew from pass experiences with JBL speakers, I would get the same excellent results. The sound quality is full and rich. Plus the portability is fanstatic! I hope this product doesn't disappoimt.

Excellent Versatile Portable Wireless Speaker!

I was sharing my passion for bicycling on Facebook and a friend suggested that I try the JBL Charge to use on my rides instead of the marginally unsafe practice of using earbuds to listen to music while riding. The charge fits perfectly into a standard water bottle cage and the volume is more than adequate to listen to any music you desire. Additionally this speaker can go with me on trips, to the office, on outdoor activities, or to any room in the house and deliver more than acceptable audio for any occasion. As a former Bose only audiophile, I love this little addition to my audio equipment collection. Thanks JBL, Harman Kardon!
