What you pay is what you get

I owned a pair of JBL speakers back in the mid 70's. Have always loved JBL speakers. Went to BestBuy to compare with other Bluetooth speakers, like Jawbone, Beats and others. None come close to JBL for the price. Yes, if I pay more I can get Bose, but it costs almost twice as much. I love my JBL Charge. Why spend over $100 for other brands while you can get JBL? Just listen to the quality of the sound, I know you will fall in love with it.

I have the Creature sound system for my computer and the sound is off the hook, so with that in mind I decided to purchase the Charger and wow for the money and the quality you can't be it

Best speaker I ever owned

Let me start off and say this speaker is amazing. Anyone that I show it to is impressed. Don't go with the beats pill just because it it is beats. You won't be happy, just buy this and save time. I have had it for almost a year and is still going strong and use it about everyday. Battery life is great, the last week I went to eat with my friends and had to charge my phone then another week went by and had to charge my phone and play music for hours and charged it Sunday. The battery life for me is worth the upgrade from the flip and any other speaker in its class. The carrying case is also not bad. Bose has you buying the soundlink for $200 then a $20-$40 case so at least jbl thought well on that. Sound is well on it, very clear audio not as bass heavy as the Bose which is fine by me because the Bose focuses a lot on bass and not vocals. Over all great speaker and can't wait for the second gen to come out because I will buy it and it will be worth every penny compared to the others. Also, at $150 you can't really go wrong with most other speakers going for $200

does not work with tab2...

Just bought it and it works apparently well with my ipad, but not with the samsung tab2...
and it is not said, until you get to the notice after opening it... frustrating, and i will probably go now for some other product, different company...

Love it -received as gift

Great speaker - impressive volume and quality. Does not like the walls in my house so much (sound reception lessens), but easy because light and portable. Connects easily to my laptop (2009 Apple pro) and HTC phone (1 year old).

I gave this a rating of 10 across the board because of size and sound this JBL Charge after listing to other brands for the price and size.And the time you have on a full charge with this will last as is said.

My original purchase was about a week ago, and I have already gone back to the store twice to exchange them because the sound begins to crackle a little and then just gets worse and WORSE. yeah they're loud, yeah they'll charge your device... but the sound goes to "word for not good that will pass the profanity check" in about 3 days. I expect more when I'm dishing out over a hundred bucks for portable speakers.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
