Don't buy it

Prints when it feels like it, scans when it feels like it. I wanted a multi function printer, not a part time job in printer troubleshooting.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

worked well briefly

I'm not tech savvy, just wanted a home wireless laser printer. Set up was remarkably easy and it worked immediately when I printed wirelessly! I printed a few documents over a month's time, then a storm knocked out the power briefly (it's plugged in to surge protector). Haven't been able to get the wireless printer function back. I re-set up, it acted like it did the first time, didn't seem to be damaged. It copies just fine. It shows up on the computer as the default printer. I'm going to try to re-download the driver. It seemed fabulous but if I can't get print wirelessly it will be worthless to me.

Disappointed

If I don't' have print problem, this is good machine (But I don't like scanning quality.) Print speed is great and quality is good. If you want to scan photo, I don't recommend this. I bought this last December. Configuration was easy and everything was OK at first. Then suddenly I couldn't print. I re-configured, updated firmware and driver. Then it printed a while. Then again print error started. Somehow this printer stop responding suddenly. If I don't have this problem, this is good machine.
Pros: high speed printing
Cons: low quality scan
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not Compatible with Adobe Acrobat
on March 27, 2014

Image and print quality is quite good; scan functions are good. Unfortunately, it is not compatible with any Adobe product, including CS. It is a particular nuisance that it will not print from Acrobat. Also, it cannot be set as the default printer in Windows - still prints from Microsoft Office and all other software, though (except Acrobat). May need to return it....
Pros: image quality, scan quality
Cons: cannot be set as windows default printer, cannot print from adobe acrobat
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent printer, scanner is not its strong suit

I have owned this all in one printer for 3 years now and it is great and reliable. The scanning function does not work as well as the printer, but I have scanned in hundreds of documents and they all work fine. The software works good with my MacOS, as long as I have the print, scan and fax drivers installed.
I would recommend this to a friend!
