Affordable Label Printer

I have had this printer for years. I can print my company logo on it. great software, love the MS Outlook add in, that lets me print a clients address at a click of a button.
Well, worth every dime I paid for it.

QL-500 useless after update

The product worked well until I got a new computer with Windows Home Premium and then it has not worked since.

I never was able to use this printer

I wanted to print portrait on the brother wide roll. Nope, evidently can't do that, I never was able to figure it out. Set orientation to portrait - it came out landscape. So I set the orientation to landscape - it came out landscape again. I think the driver for this thing needs some serious reworking. It's not user friendly at all.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Well worth the Money

I purchased the QL-500 over four years ago and used it extensively. It has not missed a beat in the thousands of labels I have printed. Also the software included has exceeded my needs. It has made my life easier than when I would have to hand write or use other methods of labeling my packages.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The software and ease of use is great. I would like to see the labels have a better adhesive on the back. the roll of labels seem to last forever. I also have a PT 2430PC and love that label maker as well. Both are permanent fixtures on my desk.

Worth Every Penny!!!

I purchased this label printer several years ago, and it remains in valuable service to this moment.
I predominately use my QL-500 for mailing labels, manila folder labels and other labels, such as cable labels. For the latter, I make a label for computer cables, for easy identification when disconnecting USB cables to move my desktop. Instead of having to remember what USB cable went where, or for tracking down each cable so I know what component its attached to without having to follow the cable from desktop USB to component. I also use it for labeling photographs I sell to put my company name and copyright symbols. SUPER LABEL PRINTER!!!
