I have been buying Brother printers, seven I think, for years and the QL-500 is just one of them. All of these printers have worked very well which leads to the question, why don't you see more Brother stuff in the stores? You go to Best Buy, Walmart, Sam's or any of the stores selling this stuff and you will have a hard time finding a Brother printer. Yet my experience with Brother is great.

I'VE HAD THIS PRODUCT FOR A LONG TIME AND NOT ONCE HAVE I HAD A PROBLEM WITH IT. IT'S CONNECTED TO MY PC AND I USE VARIOUS LABELS TO PERFORM MY LABELING FUNCTIONS. I AM DISAPPOINTED THAT I CANNOT FIND THE SHIPPING LABELS LOCALLY AT THE STORES HERE IN LAS VEGAS. OTHER THAN THAT, I'M GIVING IT 5 STARS.

An indispensable tool!

I have owned this label maker for approximately 8-10 years without ever one problem.
As the owner of a CPA firm I could not imagine being without it on a daily basis.
The only small drawback is that I cannot set a default font each time I open the program!

Love this thing.. fast and reliable.. Nothing I would change about it..
Would like if there was the equivalent to this that could make self laminating bumper stickers or equivalent thou..

Very easy to set up and use. I miss having the postal bar code on the bottom of the label. Otherwise, like the label printer very much!.

The printer is great -- very versatile. I am not happy with the file folder labels -- they do not stick to my file folders (the regular manila folders) -- something needs to be done about the adhesive!
