I absolutely love my QL-500 label printer. I honestly would be lost without it. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this printer to anyone that said they were thinking of getting one.

The BROTHER QL-500 is the best label printer so far that I have purchased. The simple operation from computer to label printer is fast and easy. I love the different options that you have to create your labels. I will purchase again when needed.

Could be an open format where emails, passwords, indexes could be kept not just the limited address format

We use the film type labels (round and continuous length). The printer has been perfect for several years now.

Very good label printer

The QL-500 is a very good, easy to use label printer. My only quibble with it is that you can't print postage with it, but for every other application it is great. I even made my own return label which featured a photo of my pet on it. Unfortunately the QL-500 also is NOT a color printer, but I would imagine that a color capable label printer would cost much more than the QL-500 does.
I would recommend this to a friend!
