As a realtor, it is a necessity for one offs to look professional instead of having to fill a sheet. The unit is great, very easy to get started and was a great investment for me to date!

I purchased this printer because it was compatible with PayPal USPS Multi-Order shipping tool. WOW! It has saved so much time and money!! I've been using it for over two years and I've not had any issues. I've also started using it for decorative packaging labels and the software is easy to use. I would have given it 5 stars except that when printing a lot of labels, if it runs out of paper, it starts printing from the beginning again instead of where it ran out. Luckily it's so inexpensive to use, it's not a huge issue. I highly recommend this printer.

Quriky issues

This printer is ok but occasionally will cut off the second label if I print two at a time. Went through lengthy troubleshooting process and they ultimately sent me a new one. New one does it too.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I found the QL-500 to be efficient, compact and exactly what I was searching for. I have long been a user of Brother Products, so after researching the others, returned to my old standby.
The simplicity of its operation enables anyone with minimum computer skills to utilize the machine. This Christmas time, I am already way ahead of schedule by having printed and attached all the address labels to the envelopes that before took a good part of the time and effort. I will gladly recommend the QL-500 to all my friends.

Great Postage and Label Printer

I have used this printer for 7 years. It has proven to be durable and reliable. The only problems I have had with it is downloading the driver disk onto a new computer. The driver disk that came with it never works and I have to download from the website 3 to 4 times before it takes. It can be frustrating, however, once it takes, I never have additional problems with it.

Brother DK-500 Review

I just love my DK-500 Label Maker. I have used it for so many projects. I labeled my files, I use it as an accessory to my card making hobby. I labeled my new spice carousel. I sent out a mass mailing, and created a special address book for my husband who recently suffered a stroke. It helps him find numbers he might need. I can't wait until Brother creates a label maker just like this one...IN COLOR...wouldn't that be too cool?
