Maintain this unit and maybe you will get a good 14 years out it like I did!

Its so noisy! I've tried to remove the water tank, I've placed in several areas of my kitchen, on trivets, on place mats and its just terrible noisy

This is a wonderful, compact, and flexible espresso maker. I had the Cuisinart Auto Espresso maker, but actually like this better as you can control steam, water, and the amount of espresso you prepare manually. Very easy to use, and even easier to clean. I really like this espresso machine.

I had to return it today. I have purchased 2 of these machines, and both started “Clogging” around the cup seal. I had one from early 2007-08 and it lasted over 10 yrs! It still works, I just need to replace the “milk frothe” stem as it broke off. I LOVE CUISINART, but something changed with this awesome Espresso machine. It really IS a 5 star machine, but my experience has been a 4 star one.
