I love my new bread maker! I especially like the option of removing the paddle so it can bake without the big hole in the bottom. I saw someone's review that they could adjust the crust color, but I had no difficulty. First loaf was a little too brown on medium, so I changed it to light and it came out perfect. I've only made the Honey Wheat recipe. It's great! I do find the rapid bake options to work great....So I am a little mystified as to why you would want to wait 4 hours for the regular bake option when the 2.5 hour option comes out fine. If I could make any changes, it would be to make the audible tones louder...I can't hear them unless I'm right in the kitchen. My solution to this is to look on the chart when they will sound (like removing the paddle) and set my oven timer to match.

Makes beautiful bread but we had an issue right away with the seal at bottom of bread pan. The seal was allowing the oil to seep through to the dough while making the bread!

The machine broke while making a second loaf of bread . Terrible thumping from inside. An exam show screws had come loose and I could not get all the parts out to repair. Cooking basket was riveted into place . Am shipping it back - will try another unit of same type .

I've had this appliance for a couple of weeks now and it's currently making my 3rd loaf of bread. This time I'm trying the whole wheat recipe that came in the instruction manual and it's looking great. The smell of baking bread throughout the house is just incredible.
Now, you can't just dump ingredients and set and forget. You have to keep an eye on the dough at first to make sure it's not too dry or too wet. I've found this to be the case with any bread machine. I set a timer for 10 min and then go check the dough. If it's a nice, smooth, round ball, everything is great. If not, you have to add some flour or water to the mix, a little at a time, until it's right.
The 1.5 lb loaf is perfect for the 2 of us but one of these days I'll make a 2 lb loaf just to test the machine out.
I love the retro stainless steel look of the outside. The handles are a great touch and the door is removable. The bread pan is much nicer than the one in my old Zojirushi machine. It's a little tricky to get inserted properly at first but now I've got the hang of it.
All in all, I'm very happy with this bread maker.

CBK-200 not as good as my old Cuisinart CBK-100

Cuisinart was great to quickly replace the bread pan for my new CBK-200 when the inside started pealing after 1 use. The bread is always darker on one end than the other. I have to make sure not to use the dark setting or one end will be nearly burned. I do like being able to turn off the mix-ins notification. All in all I'd give it a 7 out of 10. Not bad, but the bread came out better in my old CBK-100.

Easiest, most successful bread I’ve ever made. I purchased it so I could be in control of the additives and ingredients that are in bread. I can also make bread whenever I need and not be concerned about what is available on the shelf at the store. The bonus I didn’t expect, is a wide variety of specialty breads that I can make. There are so many recipes in the book that I can’t wait to use. They are more available on social media. This is the best small appliance I have bought since my Cuisinart toaster oven air fryer.

Too many beeps to remember for this and for that. Could be simplified. Otherwise, not a bad bread machine. Love ALL the bread choices, especially gluten free setting.
