This is a great bread maker with lots of bells and whistles. The cook time does have to be adjusted slights lower than recipe recommendations because it cooks really hot. Overall great performance.

After several times making bread, I've only made white bread & sour dough bread, this is an excellent machine. Key tips to do so far: Buy a bread machine book for more recipes, before the last rise be sure to pause at the beep and reach in and roll the dough away some and REMOVE the paddle(you'll be glad you did), and finally: AS SOON AS THE BREAD STOPS BAKING TAKE IT OUT!
Oh, and do yourself a favor and buy a bread cutting knife. Preferably one that's off-set.

The Cuisinart 2 lb bread maker is very nice. I am new to bread making and the recipes and instructions are nice. I really wish they would have made it a little larger, my eyes aren't as good as they once were. Have made about 8 loaves to date. We always eat most of it the day I make it. Nice, fresh bread. You have to love it.

I was diagnosed with celiac disease a year ago, so I ought this bread machine because I was tired of eating slice bread from the store I missed hot freshly made bread and I love it, I only have used the machine to make Gluten Free bread so I can't speak about the other settings since I haven't tried it, even my husband likes the bread, I used one of the recipes from the book that came with the machine and I am in love, for Gluten free bread it takes 2hrs and 42 minutes for a light crust which I love but all this time is mixing, rising and baking, is mess free, the bread comes soft, crunching on the outside, the best GF bread I ever had!! I used it at least once a week, sometimes twice.
