Great performance

I bought this microwave in 2011 & it just died a month ago. It worked perfectly all these years. I want to replace it with the same model but believe this model is no longer available. Do you have a comparable one with the same dimensions since it’s installed over my range?

Died after 6 1/2 years

Similar to other reviews, the microwave gave up the ghost tonight. We've had it for exactly 6 and a half years. I took it all down, took off the casing and swapped out the fuses, but that wasn't the problem apparently. Not sure what is. Don't really want to spend hundreds on a service call, but don't think I have too many options left at this point.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sleek and works ok

We remodeled in 2007 and went with all GE profile appliances. I liked the appearance of the Profile microwave but an not a fan of the oversized turntable. The biggest complaint is with the plug-in bulbs for nightlight. They are difficult to get to - have to remove a screw and plate underneath - and they are positioned towards the front, so I have to get a mirror and flashlight to line up the bulb's prongs. Poor design. Also have had difficulty getting the bulbs and grease filter - always out of stock.

Needed service less than 2 years after buying.

Bought this oven to replace one like it. The old one was only a little over 4 years old and the magnetron went out. Against my better judgement I bought this to replace one just like it and it stopped working after about a year and a half. Since it was out of warranty I had to pay for repairs. The problem was that the wiring was all loose. The repairman said it came from the factory this way and he was surprised it ever worked at all! Will probably not buy from this manufacturer again.

We have had this microwave for just over two years. We have replaced the light bulbs that illuminate the stove top three times and yesterday it just quit working. I chose ge because of the name and past ge products have lasted MUCH longer with little to no problems. I am disappointed in the workmanship of this product when we have had this many issues in such a short amount of time. We will now have to decide whether to call for service or replace it. I am leaning towards replacing with a product that is more durable.

Broken Vent 1.5 yrs In

The exhaust vent (part #109 in the parts manual) above the door broke. The irritating thing is that I bought the replacement part and I see that where our old part broke, the new part has metal supports, which means they knew it was a problem and now we have to pay for their mistake!
