Reliable range for the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had this range in our apartment and decided to buy the same model when we bought a house. It has simple, easy-to-use features. The glass-top is easy to wipe down. The burners and oven both cook very evenly, though they take a bit longer to heat up than a more expensive range.
If you're looking for quality and reliability over bells and whistles, this is a great range.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has been an absolute pleasure owning an GE electric range, it performes just how you would like an electric range to quick heating and even cooking. The high quality of the materials used to build the range gives it an exceptional longer than normal life span. The glass is durable and beautiful and if cleaned properly it will maintain that brand new look. Priced so that everyone could afford with a resonable extended warranty plan. GE is the brand #1 brand I have used all of my adult life of 47 years and highly recommend trying the products on your next purchase if you have never owned any.

slow cooking on large burners

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] hard to keep clean. smallest of spills while cooking require a lot of effort to clean after use. The larger burners are very slow in boiling water in larger pots (like corn on cob or noodles).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Temp never correct

It was cooking entirely too low so we (a ham that should have taken 3 hours took 5.5 no matter what we did). They adjusted it and now when it says it's has preheated, you have to leave it for another 15 or more minutes depending on how hot you want it before you can cook and anything you bake, no matter what temp, you have to watch closely as it never takes as long as it says because it cooks too hot for the most part now. We can't find a happy medium. Too hot or too cold.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
