New Equipment so much easier

For the Family Archiver

It was a great deal and I love it. I can scan photos AND negatives. After 20 years of taking family photos, I have amassed quite a bunch of both.
I have switched to digital mainly, so now I can archive the rest and share them online.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased this scanner for my wife as she does a chunk of scrapbooking etc...and she wanted to scan some old photos. Works great...what else can I say?

the v-500 has produced good quality scans, when it works. The lid cover plug often comes loose, causing an error, and having to shut down and reboot the entire program. The enclosed 1 sheet of instructions is woefully inadequate. Be sure to check their website for the closest service center. If there is none within your STATE, you need service you might have to bear shipping fees both ways.
the set up for scanning is too complex and confusing there is no simple put the negative in and push ''SCAN''.
BUT, WHEN IT DOES WORK, IT PRODUCES A GOOD SCAN.
